There are two primary considerations for site preparation.

Ground Surface. Ideally, there is a concrete surface that is generally flat (or only has slight sloping to accommodate drainage). If not concrete, packed gravel will suffice. In either case, the surface should support the weight of the platform system designed for your application and/or the expected trucks (maximally loaded).

  • a new account;
  • newly installed main source panel and meter;
  • underground or overhead wiring to the source;
  • contact with the local utility company; and/or
  • permits to assure the source electricity meets local code.
